Astrobio is dedicated to understanding the potential for life beyond our solar system. By studying G-type and K-type stars, and the planets they host, they aim to identify environments where life may exist. Combining stellar science, planetary research, and biosignature analysis, Astrobio seeks to answer one of humanity’s most profound questions: Is there life elsewhere in the universe?

Scientific Rationale

G-type (sun-like) and K-type (slightly cooler) stars offer long, stable lifespans and consistent energy output. This stability allows potential planets enough time for life to emerge and evolve, unlike hotter, short-lived stars or volatile red dwarfs.

By examining terrestrial and super-Earth planets, we assess their structure, atmospheric composition, and orbital dynamics. This enables us to determine which planets could maintain liquid water and other conditions conducive to life.

Astrobio investigates atmospheric and chemical markers—such as oxygen, methane, and other biologically relevant molecules—that indicate active or historical life. By combining planetary data with stellar behavior, we create a comprehensive framework for identifying habitable worlds.

Color Palette

Astrobio’s color palette is inspired by G-type and K-type stars, combining warm stellar tones with neutral grays and charcoal blacks to create balance, clarity, and contrast. The palette supports a modern scientific aesthetic while allowing data and research to remain the focus.
